Poker is recognized as a card game in many parts of the world. The simplicity of the game has created the instant popularity of the game. As poker is played in many parts of the world, the rules may be same but not all the variants are identical. The game is named after a French word "poque" which means a little folded piece. The sequence of cards determine how the hand is to be formed. The cards dealt to the players need to be in "turn" or single sequence. The best combination is to have all the cards in the same sequence, hoping that they will be in the same order. But you can not have the same hand twice, even if in two different games.

To help you to determine whether the next card you receive is possible to be used to form a new hand, you need to ask the following questions. Have the cards been dealt in sequence? Are the cards of the same suit? Are the cards arithmetic (i.e. nine and eight, six and five)? Are the cards arithmetic or lower (5-4-3-2-A)? Are the cards in the same suit? Or are they sequence cards?

If the cards in your hand are sequence cards, you can surmise the next card to be one of the following values:

o Sequence cards of low value - 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King

o Sequence cards of high value - A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2

In the latter two cases, if the cards are not in sequence, and there are no matches on the table, then you discard the useless cards and bet with the remaining cards. Remember, the less numbers there are in the next card, the better. The game is won by having the strongest hand, not by holding the best hand. So, discard only the cards which do not allow to form a running hand.
